We began the morning hiking in Badlands National Park. What a beautiful scene of colored rock formations, unlike anything we've ever seen before. We hiked, climbed up a few tall formations, and toured around the length of the park in our car. In the park, we saw some bison and prairie dogs.
We then went to Wall Drug. If you ever drove down South on the East coast on Route 95, you may remember seeing hundreds of signs for South of the Border. Well, this was the Western version of that. It was fun, many different stores, restaurants and things for children to do. Emmie bought an orange cowgirl hat, which she wants to wear square dancing in kindergarten. When we got back to the campsite around 4:30, we played a round of mini-golf and went swimming.
Another great day which we feel so blessed to be able to enjoy. Hope all is well with you - all our family and friends. God Bless!
