Day 1 (Travel from Rochester, NY to Gary/Porter Indiana)

Our plan to leave at 7 AM was successful, albeit 7AM Mountain Time :) . We drove about 560 miles to Gary/Porter, Indiana. We had a great time in the car listening to music, watching for different states license plates and just spending time together. We pulled into Uncle Bob's and Aunt Eleanor's (Donna's aunt & uncle) for the night at about 7:30 PM EST. They had made a great dinner for us. Peter, Jordan and EmmaLee had a great time jumping on the trampoline in their backyard. Uncle Bob and Aunt Eleanor were wonderful hosts - we greatly appreciate them opening up their home to us!
